Line is currently 5.5. I'm surprised, thought it would be north of seven points. I guess folks expect us to be flat off of last week but I can see Pitt having a lot of trouble stopping SU's offense unless we're off our game. Pitt has been non-competitive in a few games so far this year.

I think because they saw us collapse versus the run in the fourth quarter and Pittsburgh has a couple of runners averaging like 6 a carry. This in addition to being away in a place we haven't won in and our history of throwing the season after a big game. I get it.

NZM is correct - in 3 of their 4 games, Pitt has given up at least 38 points. We'll win 52-14 or come out totally flat and beat up and lose 24-21 or something totally flukey.

I kinda get it. Pitt's decline hasnt been gradual and predictable but rather kinda sudden and in a weird way. They had it trending in the right direction the past few years. Narduzzi has recruited well but losing the qb has had an impact. Thing is, there is still a presence of talented players on this team.

We’ve seen 20 years of mediocre to bad football, countless heart breaks, and repeated collapses after huge performances. We will either have another crushing, fluke, loss as a result of a team running on fumes, emotional or otherwise, or we will have a crushing victory because we’re a much better team.
