Vegas line for Pitt

We are 1-7 on the road in the ACC under Dino. Some tough games in there but still.

SU has been doing a lot better on road last year and this year as it seems Dino has been getting them more prepared as he is learning more himself on how to play on the big boy stage. LSU/Miami/FSU/Clemson and all games within 7 points and a far cry from the blowouts and lashings SU has had on the road before that. This is the best SU, in my eyes, has played on the road in a long time and I really like the direction they are going and how the staff has the players prepared for road games.

Even if Dino is 1-7 on the road, I’m sure it’s much better ATS.
We’ve played quite a few good teams on the road very tight - Clemson this year, LSU, U, FSU last year.

The line dropping to -4 is actually a good thing. The experts set the opening line at SU -6, which was chosen to try to get even action on both teams. When the line dropped to -4, it was because the early money was on SU to cover.

Not really. The books set the line at six and then money came in on Pittsburgh to drive the line two points lower.

If LSU had a QB they would have destroyed us.
Miles also didn’t score at the end of the game.
That wasn’t close on the field. Scoreboard was close and we Cuse fans were happy with a competitive 10 Point game but performances like that were why Miles was fired.
They completed 8 passes the entire game.

USF had a lot of speed especially on offense and at QB in 2015.

Pitt is playing a pro style QB in Pickett that isn’t scary.

We will score on Pitt’s D. Only chance we have to lose is if we fumble the ball and their RB goes off.

Early money is generally the public that knows next to nothing about the details of a game. The smart money comes in later in the week when all the info is out and/or the line hits a point where the value is too good. I'll be very surprised if that line doesn't move back to 6 or 7 by kickoff.

Agree on 5Dimes, I'd also recommend betting with bitcoin rather than a credit/debit card, as there have been a lot of complaints about credit card fraud after betting there. If you deposit with bitcoin, I'd say 5Dimes is probably one of the better go-to sites.

is this really true.. from what i listen to early money is the sharps who see their system plays. almost all late money is the casual fan. the general public rarely bets mid week

sharp money can change lines at any point...just because a line moves late doesn't mean sharp money moved it. This is fallacy. for example, Oklahoma vs Texas opened at -7.5...it got bet down by public money to 7.0..sharps jumped on it at 7.0 and now its back to 7.5..this all happened very quickly...

betting line though shouldn't move based on this. that should be figured into the initial line.

college sports lines get miscalculated all the time. there is alot more inefficiency. everyone thought that clemson line was fishy and yet, the money was as easy as everyone thought.
