Especially Thompson, Zeke Johnson, Spruill, Lynch and Bromley. Straight out balled today even though one of them got blatantly held seemingly every play.

Our DE's are all of a sudden looking deep and really good.

Loved the passion this team showed today.

Hard to pitch a shutout to a conference foe.

Turtle soup is next.

this was the type of defense I was expecting in the beginning. wonder if shafer was more hands on in the last two weeks

plus what the hell was that illegal sub penalty prior to the time out?

I have never heard of that before....wacky road refs. I want my old big east officials to replace those clowns

Well said.

Resilience is a hallmark of hard-nosed. That was evident today.

I'll take wins like today, all day. Scrap and claw until we get enhancements at QB and WR.

Proud of the coaching staff as well.

Bad calls both ways but is it me or are the ACC refs incredibly slow to blow the whistle at the end of plays? The pile stops moving for what seems like 5 seconds before you hear a whistle.

Agreed, especially the defensive coaches who really had a solid gameplan.

really great job today by the D. To come back and pitch a shut out after being humiliated at GT speaks volumes about the kids and the coaches. I do believe that HCSS had a much larger hand in the game plan this week and that he will contiune to stay involved. The kids played with a high motor all day and the coaches put them in a position to win. Great job.
