I don't really under stand the court storming police and how it affects our prestige, but to be fair to Alsacs he is far from the only one that thinks this way.

In fact the majority of the Xavier board thinks the same as Alsacs. I used to interact alot with some of those Xavier posters nn another board they are pretty arrogant but in a funny way. The hate they have for Cincy and Dayton is strong. UD(ayton) is referred to as VD.

I think it's more about the ranking - Nova is good, but if you're looking at 1 seeds, Nova is going to be your goal. The Big East just isn't on par with the other conferences any more - not bad, but probably a notch below. Whenever you see the 2 line, it seems like a lot of years you're hoping you can grab Gonzaga because they're always so high. They're not bad teams - just have an easier path to their high seeds because the conferences are weaker. I guess that's the similarity.

Nova has had a rough run as a high seed since their final four appearance in '09. A #1 and 2 #2s and they haven't made it out of the first weekend.

With exception of last year, Gonzaga has also had a rough go as a high seed:

1 #1, 2 #2s, 2 #3s and they've only gotten out of the first weekend twice..

We didn't rush the court when we beat Duke in the Dome, why would we do that for a program we've beaten a good amount?
