Vinny Lobdell Donor Group

No, sorry, I disagree. Schertz or Hodgson or somebody not connected to Syracuse would get their 3 year shot. With Gerry, this is an 'all in' bet. If he doesn't get it done, that's it. Gerry was the last card of the hand, and they played it now. So, we all better pray for the best.
I have a direct line to the Infinite. I got this.

Maybe there can be some sort of mechanism as it relates to donations to NIL at the beginning of each thread that is published, Let's say individual donations and potentially recurring if possible whatever the amount even if it was $25 per month or more. I firmly believe if people realize the purpose behind such initiatives to support student athletes, smaller donors would pour in through the woodwork. Especially if they realized the hopeful character of the coaches and lifelong wishes for the student athletes. Certainly bigger than a ball once again I know. We have always seemed to attract high character individuals who attempted to empower the student athlete win lose or draw for the most part in my opinion. Certainly not perfect but I believe that to be the generalized case. Moderator thoughts concerning mechanism?
So far an option for us small potatoes to donate to NIL is not set up. I believe from many on here that they are working on it. We had an option that had to shut down. Each sport, or athletics in general need to have an NIL collective. This will happen soon, I believe. What is set up is the option to donate to revenue sharing. But honestly, I believe the better place for us to donate will eventually be to an NIL collective.

After watching Arizona I hope some of that money is used on some European players. They seem to be so much more ready to play than US freshmen. Arizona has 8 foreign players on their roster.
I know some pretty good ones already hit the portal. I also know the kid at Siena Tasmin Goodrick is from Australia.

Illinois has 6 European players, that seems to be the way to go vs AAU kids.

They are, in general, so much more sound in the fundamentals, and much less self aggrandizing. Arguably, the 3 best players in the world are European: Jokic, Docic, and Wemby.

Too bad Red never played our guy from the Australian national team.

I'll assume this is just a matter of setting up a management team and workflow? It seems to be taking a while. Having an online giving platform by tomorrow's event, or at least when the portal opens next week, would be optimal.

Maybe he wasn’t that skilled. And he had a horrible “haircut,” or whatever that was. But he was always up on his feet cheering for us and I liked seeing that.

Maybe Red didn't know what he was doing.

He benched White for a large part of the season when it was clear he could help us score in the paint.

Can't assume he wasn't any good on Autry's substitution patterns... GMAC will scout him and decide.

I agree and thank you

That implies he at least gives off the impression he is smart, which I don’t think he does. He’s just dumb.
He's not dumb. He just has one singular issue that drives his whole being. I would be interested to see how this came to be and why it controls his life.

once again, we are missing the boat. that's not for NIL. i wonder how many people have donated money in the past week, and will continue to donate, not knowing they aren't donating to NIL and building a roster like every article tries to say. sad. waters shoud be ashamed too for not knowing the difference and writing things like this;

'The timing of the campaign comes in the days leading up to college basketball’s free agency period. Players seeking to transfer to a new school must submit their names into the NCAA transfer portal by April 21. The funds can help give McNamara more spending power in a narrow window when transfers and their agents are fielding offers and negotiating contracts with schools."

we need a bball nil collective asap.

There is no way to move money around using such funds collected to alter the rev share amount for hoops is there? If not then this is a really bad look for how it’s being sold.

nil money can't come from any su fund. coaches fund and rev share i'm not sure about moving funds.

Right understood on the former was just curious on the latter given technically speaking rev share is part of the equation and this announcement doesn’t specifically say NIL.
