Agree. Any donation helps - whether to the coaches funds to help with additional assistants or support positions or whatever might be necessary. Personally, I am waiting to donate until a collective is set up so it goes specifically to NIL.

Wow. I had just been in there before it was posted reading about Phelia. So I missed it. Are we absolutely sure it is not an April Fool's joke? She was struggling the past couple of games though, and there was the game she was sat on the bench as a starter. Wonder is something else under the obvious. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there an accounting of this fund that is done? Is what it is spent on public? Whats stopping us from, say, slipping a donor money from this fund to offset an NIL payment they make to a player?

i'm sure there's an internal accounting. but it's not officially public.

My biggest takeaway is that Noah Lobdell owns Hidden Fish.

I don't think Red had the sense of urgency that Gerry does for the state of the program. Maybe he did but he never expressed. Only talked about what made his job difficult. Gmac speaks in different terms. Easy to see why Donors are backing even though there's obvious questions about paying style Xs and Os etc.

Playing style maybe, but Xs and Os GMac seems to be topshelf.

He took five 2 and 3 star kids and gave Duke a game we hadn't seen Cuse do in years.

On playing style: I'm sure he'll match the best style to the group he ends up with.

Rev sharing 4, lobdell, OOC game against Indiana, Melo group plus. There was just an article in the paper lobdell raising 5 million alone. At the bare minimum without anyone else we are around 10 right now. Just don’t count on Lally for basketball.

This is great for GMac and the men. It would be nice for them to do it for Coach Jack. She grew up in Syracuse, played at SU and now is a great leader for the team and university. Even with a 1/3 of the support the men’s program is getting Coach Jack would make the team in to one of best in the acc and a perennial top 25 program.

Can’t say exactly when but I confirmed yesterday that it is preparing to launch. Desire is to have a single portal to support NIL for multiple sports. Some familiar names from the NIL world are behind the effort. Also unsure which sports beyond football and men’s and women’s basketball will be included.

Just wish they waited until that launched to grab all the momentum that exists now and that has already brought in money to the coaches fund.
