very deep draft...i think he stays one more year......and if he does go shouldnt he be letting the coaches know bc we will need a guard in 2012 for sure :noidea:

If Scoop is in his ear and not Meek Mill, he ought to stick around.

If he keeps this up, yeah he'll have a real decision to make come springtime...

Before the season started I wrote this. Just had a feeling from a little observation that this was Dion's breakout year. No one on the team posses his skill set. Bees remarked that all summer he (Dion) and his buds talked about him being the star & going to get the money after this year.

The whole thread is interesting in retrospect.

If Dion can finish like he did tonight he is going to have a lot of really high scoring nights for us. That said, NC State is tailor made for Dion's style of play. Their guards were all big and slow - way too slow to stay in front of him - and they didn't have anything even remotely resembling a shot blocker or even anyone to intimidate under the basket. For long stretches Wood tried to handle Dion one on one and actually play up on him pressuring the ball. Not gonna happen.

I feel that Dion is going to make the jump this year. The depth of the draft may be the swaying point, but given this kid's confidence, I don't know if I believe it.

Ultimately, I think the thing that has really kept us from really busting out and establishing ourselves as the dominant force in college basketball since we won the title, is the fact that it just seems like we have had an absurdly high percentage of kids leaving one year before they should have. Especially since, up until now, it's not like our recruiting was up to par with the schools that just expect two or three guys to jump and just constantly reload.

Spot on. If he wants to last in the NBA he needs to be a better shooter. He has the other skills
