1 1/2 hour flight but more like a 4 hour or more trip from the Melo center to the hotel. Then something to eat and maybe a nap. Definitely a hectic afternoon. Will definitely have an impact.

I'm hoping they can get a nap in... sounds like they've been up for awhile waiting patiently for southerners to push snow around.

How can it not impact somewhat? Their normal road routine has been disrupted :crazy:. Not to mention all of the limbo status and the adults/administrators uncertainty and changing their tune daily.

C'ville resident on our board said the roads are all cleared around JPJ. I would hope the bus will be escorted from the airport. Our women's team has a game scheduled for 1 PM.

There's one road from the airport to 29 and one more from 29 to the JPJ parking lots. There is one stretch that has Jersey barriers due to construction that won't let them shove the snow to the side, otherwise I would hope that they could clear 29 pretty easily.

This is exactly why I have always said the team should go from the airport charter terminal to the arena in specially painted Orange Blackhawk helicopters, with their feet dangling over the side. It would scare the out of the... locals. (Playing Flight of the Valkyries is optional).

Back in the '14 season NC State also knocked us off in OT when they traveled in the same day of the game, and the game had to be pushed back because they were late.

Yeah, they lost at the end, however, due to having to sleep on a plane and missing their usual pregame routine.
