Grobe definitely needs a winning season this year. He seems like a really nice guy but the Wake fans are restless and already calling for the firing of the BB coach, they should have kept Gaudio, and the AD. Some even went so far as to announce their demands on a billboard.

Their basketball coach is one of the most head scratching hires for a program with some recent success and a strong tradition. I would want him fired too.

Wake fans know they're playing against a stacked deck in football... Grobe would have to screw up epically for them to call for his head.
As for Jeff Bzdelik - this dope needs to be fired.
The guy has taken what was a very good program and gone 8-24, 13-18, and 13-18 over the last 3 seasons with ACC records of 1-15, 4-12, and 6-12.
This after three "stellar" seasons at Colorado where he went 12-20, 9-22, and 15-16.
Read that again... He got an ACC job at a school with great recent history after compiling a record of 36-58 in the, mediocre at best, Big 12.
Bzdelik has all but proven he can't coach and almost makes our favorite guy, GRob, look like a genius.
And for those of you with short memories, prior to Bzdelik, Dino Guadio went 17-13 (coming off the tragic death of Skip Prosser) and then 24-7 and 20-11 with a Sweet 16 appearance.

He has a 25+ year friendship with the Wake AD, Ron Wellman.
Wellman's firing of Guadio was all a power play - just to get his pal, Bzdelik hired.
