That is my twin brother OrangeSox44 and his g/ Danielle. Hats off for the overnight drive from Cuse. Joining in convo is Mrs. CuyahogaCuse sporting a cast (rumor has it that CMU fans are still hospitalized is unconfirmed). Once again Cuse men continually find ladies way out of their league.

Boy, you can say that again.

I should note that when I pulled into the parking lot at 6:30 AM. Mark (OrangeSox44) and Danielle were already there!

No CMU fan will ever arrive late again and stand in the aisle for the whole first quarter. What's a little cast when the other guy is in traction?

As for the second half of the quote, I subscribe to Jim Boeheim's theory of "marrying up."

Here are some pictures I took...

This is a panoramic of what it looks like under the stands at the 50 yard line on the visitor side of the field. It is wide open, no walls and barely any fences.

This is a panoramic from my seat, taken about 30 minutes before kickoff.

This is the Wake Marching Band, 71 members. It was not much bigger than the SSS. The SSS typically has 7 or 8 tubas in it BTW...

And this is of the stadium just after the game ended. Note the Pepsi logo on the building behind the endzone. I was told Pepsi is big in these parts because it was founded in North Carolina. Who knew?

Great stuff guys. Looked on tv like there was way more Orange than black or whatever Wake wears.

Im curious what colour are you all wearing @ Clemso n ?

Looks like that crew didn't get the memo that the football program changed school colors.

Wake Forest BBT Field is small but very nice stadium. The scoreboard is on one end and the Video Board, the other. Below the Video Board is a grassy area for spectators (bottom).

There were clearly more Orange fans than Wake students!

Uh oh. That looks like Mrs. Consig's "I said NO papparazzi!" face!

Finally back home...and a real keyboard. Anyways I wanted to express my thanks to the guys for coming through with a great unofficial tailgate. Really nice turnout and we snagged the best spot in the Yellow Lot. Two years from now...we'll try to be back in the same spot.

I want to apologize to those that went to the official Cuse tailgate. It was not what I had hoped for. Not sure why Otto, a few cheer team and Floyd Little couldn't come by for 15 mins? The stadium was literally 100 yards from the Football field. Not happy about that. I heard Chris Gedney came by early but obviously his radio gig called and he had to leave. Jason Poles and Tim Ahern were the only players I ran into at the function. I won't get into the food...as that was beyond SU's control.

In 2016 we'll go back to our own tailgate.

Did you destroy any Wake fans on the pong table?

If there were such a thing as Wake Forest fans, I would have dominated. Unfortunately, they are similar to the Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka. Nobody has ever heard of them.

Individually Wake had some cool, spirited fans...but overall they were fairly passive and detached to the whole Football thing.

LOL I knew. The birthplace of Pepsi is New Bern, NC... been there, seen that.

Super late to the party, but great job all around gang! It was great seeing the usual suspects again and meeting some new folks. Best location we've ever had for a tailgate! Loved being able to walk right across the street at halftime to slam a couple cold ones. Awesome turnout by the southern Cuse folks again! I didn't think it was as large as NCState last year, but we made our presence known with Mark getting us going every time, lol. Wake has a very nice intimate stadium that is right on top of the field, which is perfect for them. Not much of a homefield advantage on this day and the Wake fans sprinkled into our group seemed a little annoyed. All together great weather, great tailgating, and great people made for an amazing day! Shout out to Justin for leading another great tailgate, Mark for getting this rowdy bunch together again, and the entire syracusefan.com family for giving me another great memory!

A far cry when I showed up alone at ECU around 2000...wandered around and met 2-3 Cuse fans who were wandering too. Really lame...
