The building will cost $21 million will feature a 120-yard turf field. Construction is expected to complete by the end of 2015, and it’s exciting news for first-year head coach Dave Clawson.

Wake Forest's $21 million practice facility bumps Syracuse's price tag into bottom half of ACC

With Syracuse's $13 million indoor practice venue headed toward a potential completion date in December, ACC rival Wake Forest announced plans to spend $8 million more on its own building on Tuesday.

Wake Forest hopes to have its $21 million venue completed in 2015. That puts the Demon Deacons on a list of schools that includes Virginia Tech and North Carolina State that have indoor practice facilities scheduled to open next year.

To be fair, that appears to be an entire complex including outdoor fields that we already have. Would ours not cost that much with two outdoor fields, and pine trees?

I guess we did ours on the cheap. I'm assuming the 120 yard field just mean it has end zones?

FYI, if this article is correct, it will be smaller than ours. 95K versus 102K in square feet.

It looks like they are spending a lot of extra money to make the building look like other buildings in the area. With the IPF not part of the main campus, that is not an issue with our facility.

everything on Wake's campus has the same exact look, more or less, so that's probably right.
