Lost to ULM 17-10. I think it's safe to say they probably won't win more then 2-3 games this year. True Freshman Quarterback and Center, and it's the head coaches first year at Wake. I watched some of the game and their players look out of shape and slow. We should put a major beating on these guys.

Not only was it bad football but it was a bizarre game. The only reason that Wake even got on the board was because of a blocked kick that rolled back into the endzone. Plays couldn't be reviewed because the replay wasn't working until the end of the 3rd. And then the play in the 1st where a ULM player, trying to avoid a penalty from hitting the down Wake receiver, took out one of the refs. That ref was gone.. out of the game. It was like passing a car wreck on the highway. If anyone thinks that our game with Wake will be a What loss they are nuts.

Seemed in the first quarter he was running pretty fast and getting yardage... running for his life. They are lucky to have Kinal kicking.. about the only bright spot.

Going to be a tuff transition at WF. Grobe for them is almost like Schwarzwalder for Cuse. He brought them respectability and a BCS bowl birth. As time goes by he is going to gain legend status. Even now I'm sure there is a contingent that feels that he was wrongly forced out, amongst alumni and the players. This is a team that the genius from CBS said SU would finish behind? They looked like a Grob coached Syracuse team. Luckily for the ACC, Vanderbilt took one on the chin to Temple.

The B1G has made an enormous reach to take Rutgers. Syracuse is the main media rival to them in the NYC market , tarnish The Orange and it helps Rutgers. These types of things go on everyday in the business world.

Writers don't do their homework either and have no clue what is going on. SI came out with bowl picks online yesterday and left SU off but put BC in. Ok.. All three years we made bowl games no one picked us to go to a bowl and all three bowl games themselves no one picked us to beat K State, WVU or Minn. it was almost unanimous by the so called experts that we would lose each of those games. The moral of the tale: screw them and Go SU!

There are hundreds of millions of dollars at stake . The B1G is partners with FOX and The ACC is partners with ESPN. They will employ all means at there disposal to ensure their success . That includes spending million dollars for an internet effort to create perceptions in the public at large.

So, using this theory, then ESPN, who is just as powerful if not more powerful of a sports entity than Fox, should be spreading pro-SU propaganda to counter the anti-SU sentiment. It does not appear to be the case if you watch/view any ESPN properties. With all due respect, your theory sounds like it belongs in an Oliver Stone film.

Gotcha...

The status difference between the two will be increasing... again, it's the $$$. If you're a two-star kid that isn't getting the love from the big boys, it used to be a toss-up between schools like WF and NIU. Once WF starts paying a full cost of tuition stipend on top of the improved weather and education it should tip things in their favor.

For the coach, if he repeats some of his success he'll bolt to greener pastures like his predecessor should've.
