Heard yesterday on ESPN the WF QB has 11 INT's. Our defense needs to show up and I think it will but there will be opportunities for our defense to take some pressure off the offense.

I expect Long to potentially make some mistakes, a la Jay Cutler, throwing the ball into double coverage and paying the price. I think we have to expect this to happen if he continue to play. We need to establish the run and control the line of scrimmage and make Long decision making easier when we do pass the ball. Pull the WF defenders in to stop the run and allow Long to have easy decisions to make.

I was not confident we would win the game before Fla st., wouldn't have surprised me if we had or hadn't won. Now, I don't see us losing this game and I never thought I would feel that way the rest of this season.

During the last years of Grobe there were recruiting issues at Wake. Out of the 35 players he signed in 2010 and 2011 22 never made an impact. 8 of the 22 were dismissed or suspended indefinitely, 4 suffered career ending injuries, 3 transferred, 1 dropped out, and 6 did not or have not ever contributed. Clawson has a major rebuilding project on his hands.

This game comes at the right time. Wilson will probably out with a concussion and that leaves AJ pretty much alone on an island (no shot at Kimble intended). AJ will rise to the occasion. I expect him to settle down and play a good game. He needs to stop throwing into double coverage of course, but I am sure Lester will correct this. Aggressive QB's are like training upland bird dogs - you want to rein them in without breaking their enthusiasm. Lester knows this.

I have a feeling we will be feeling a lot better about the O after this game.

they are horrible. this is great news

their points per game is 23% better than UConns. this is amazing news.

wake is dead last in yards and it's not even really close. SMU is 2nd to last and they're 14% better in YPG

SU's offense in 2008 was 27% better in ypg. and that SU offense blew a mass grave of dead bears
