UNC always gets lucky with kids who should leave and they stay an extra year.

I bet Brooks stays and Bacot will stupidly stay as well.
UNC needs a point guard depth and wing who can shoot.

Brooks may be coming back for a 5th year and Bacot isn’t on many draft boards. Playing time might have looked sparse for him next year too. Rumor down here in Carolina is that at least two other people are looking to transfer out one of them being Puff Johnson.

UNC is good when they have good guards who can push pace. The bigs and number of bigs is all hype. In fact I think a lot of kids hate it and would rather get big minutes with less rotation. I think JB regular season plays too few guys but Roy and his ilk play too many guys for my taste.

Kessler wasn’t playing a ton until Brooks went down, I believe. So, they had a solid three man rotation for the two spots on the floor of Brooks, Bacot and Sharp. Kessler was the odd man out until injury brought him into the rotation.

I’ve watched nearly every UNC game. I will just say this - if Kessler played at SU we would be almost unbeatable. I think the kid is going to be a great player. Could be a legit stretch 5 in NBA. Very surprised he would transfer out. I assumed from the beginning that Sharpe would be gone.

I didn't watch UNC other than when they played us, but I was less than impressed with him in those games. That said, if he was interested in SU, I wouldn't say no.

I watched him late in the season and kid looked like the real deal, it would a huge get if Jimmy B could land this kid.

the game has changed...I don't think people realize the impact the portal is gonna have on the upcoming seasons...I think it will be good for parity and make it harder for the name schools to stockpile talent.

At the end of the day, the bg schools can still get who they want though...now it will be proven transfer players.
