And how about the timing? Another thing I mentioned is the left hand, but even more impressive is the way he meets the ball.
Couple of times our guys do the crazy exaggerated swat that might help alter the shot, but what Lydon excels at: the way he meets the ball with his hand to make sure he gets a piece.

When you watch this replay, check out the action at ~35 seconds, when the 'Zags got the ball to Sabonis on the left mid-block. Our front-line defense was terrific contesting his shot and coming up with the loose ball.
