Was Sales in the end zone on the next-to-last play of the game?

in live action I thought he was, but after watching the replay, I thought that he was just short

The replay I saw he had one arm in, but the ball was tucked in tight with no good angle to tell for sure.

There was a review, but they said he didn't get in. There should always be a camera angle from the goal line.

they reviewed thats why we got time back on the clock, really no good angle but hard to believe it wasnt called a TD live

I thought so live. If they reviewed, I think play would stand b/c it wasn't definitive. Just tough camera angles.

Thought we got more time b/c USF called TO before Nassib's sneak. You might be right.

He was in. The problem is that a) the judges were blocked on the play and b) it wasn't 100% definitive as required. But I am 95% sure he was in. Moot point luckily.

Too hard to tell you. There was no camera angle shown on TV that was definitive. I don't think they reviewed it either tho I'm not positive. But Marrone complained a lot about the play and I assume he was arguing about no call. They added time on the clock because USF called time before we got the play off.

On the radio Matt Park and Chris Gedney commented that since the game was only an ESPN3 game, they didn't have as many cameras as a normal ESPN game so they didn't have one on the goal line.

We need to get good enough so that all our games have camera on the goal line. Don't show up at your own funeral disguised as a guy named Phil Shiffley.

I didn't think the ball ever crossed the plane, his other arm certainly did, but it was hard to tell with ESPN3

That seems a bit odd. The goal line camera comes into play all the time - I would think that's one camera you would consider a must have. I thought he was in, but no way to know for sure w/ those angles. I did become less sure after those replays those - in real time I was 99.99% sure he was in.

Isnt it TV 101 to have a camera on the goal line? I mean What with that camera angle that we saw? I dont think he got it but jesucrist how can there not be a camera right ion the goal line?

and you only need one hand held camera to do a goal line for the most part.

In I thought but hard to prove without goalline view
