It took a lot of patience, and effort, to find ANY highlights or comments about the near upset of the #8 team in the country by a team that was more than 3 touchdown underdogs! When I thought my patience had finally paid off, all I really got was L.. highlights, basically 2 long runs, one on a broken play. No mention of all the negative, behind the line stops we had on him. I swear that if this was done by ANY OTHER TEAM in the country, and I mean any, all the other non-relevant of recent history teams, see Purdue, Colorado etc., Bristol would be talking them up as a team to watch, it is truly frustrating to see the blatant prejudice and disregard this network has for Syracuse Football. Go ORANGEMEN!!!!

I think what surprised me more than anything with the broadcast was that - unless I missed it - I don't recall them showing or even really mentioning the hit that Dungey took. They even had a prime opportunity since LSU had a guy sit out the first half after getting ejected for targeting last week, yet if they ever showed the hit on Dungey, I missed it. Very strange.

Well, fwiw, I did see on the ESPN ticker sometime afterwards, something along the lines...LSU survives...holds off the Orange...

Was never shown ... coverage of SU as a whole is a joke. What really blows my mind is that so many SU grads work there yet this goes on.

I seriously want to snack Herbie. Yeah we aren't Ohio State but we aren't Kansas either. 3 bowl wins in the past 5 years shouldn't invite his constant snide BS. Ahole

Him and Doug Gottlieb...they both need to get punched.

I don't want to jab any holes in this, but I'm not sure I would call it a near upset. We never even had the game tied post 0-0.

We played well and competed.

Dungey's absence was discussed extensively in the second half for sure.

Disagree, 2-3 plays from being an upset

Yep. And that's not really national news. We played well and we should be proud of how we competed. But LSU didn't have to come back to win and SU wasn't attempting the go ahead score with under a minute to go (or at all).

Got some love on national sports radio today. Not sure if it was ESPN, may have been fox but wasn't CBS. Mentioned that Syracuse only lost by 10 despite Fournette doing what he does. Thing that stood out was they mentioned SU only losing by 10 vs LSU only winning by 10. Called us out by name/

2-3 perfect plays in our favor. and probably more than that.

we needed 2-3 perfect plays to tie the game.

again we played well and we hung tough and i absolutely think it was a sign of the corner being turned. But texas tech-tcu was a near upset.

Weird game cause you're right. We were 2-3 plays from upsetting them and yet 2-3 plays from getting blown out.
Really, then every team that has lost a close game was 2-3 play from getting blown out, that's your take, really?!?!?!
