I'm considering switching to a cable provider that offers Watch ESPN as part of their service, but I need some more details first.

How many SU games were on Watch ESPN last year?

How many should we expect to be on Watch ESPN now that we are in the ACC?

Any expert opinions or educated guesses would be appreciated.

Is what's available on WatchESPN and ESPN3 the same? If so, most of the OOC schedule (aside from the Arkansas, Temple, SDSU, and maybe a couple other games) was on ESPN3 (or Time Warner Cable Sports Net if you are in the area). And then, the games against the lesser Big East teams were also not televised and put only on ESPN3 (so like the Seton Hall, Depaul, USF, Providence maybe, and Rutgers games).

If WatchESPN and ESPN3 don't have the same content then most of that is going to be irrelevant.. haha

It's tough to guess what will and won't be televised of the ACC schedule b/c they are all new, interesting match ups, but maybe the BC, Clemson, GT, games would be put on ESPN3.:noidea:

WatchESPN=ESPN, 2, U and 3

You should get everything in the ACC unless Blacked Out. My understanding if you get TWC and only order Internet you won't get WatchESPN. Anyone confrim? I'm seriously thinking about dumping TWC but keeping the Internet and setting up an antenna for local HD TV channels.

I can't confirm for TW, but I can confirm for Cox that when you have internet only, you do not get Watch ESPN.

It sounds like the conference games are likely to be on Watch ESPN, but what about the early season games? Will those show up on Watch ESPN?

All ACC games produced by ESPN will be at least on ESPN3...so I'd say Yes with the exception of the Northwestern game.
