Good to know. I hope Dungey is unleashed a bit more in the first half. I am not against establishing the running game, it is strength, but I would like to see our passing game grow.
That's what I want, too, more reps before LSU. LSU will be a measuring stick for this team, whether we like it or not.I agree, mostly because I want to see Dungey get the reps. He's been very efficient, but I want to see his attempts go up before playing LSU. Unfortunately if we go up big, Shafer will run the clock out like URI.
Not sure about you guys...but winning the early game on Saturday makes for a fun day watching the other games.
I think this team will be focused...Coach P's team's were notorious for laying eggs early in the season
Was just telling my wife this. Even though we don't play in the same conf anymore, an SU win and RU loss makes a great weekendAnd what's even better is watching Rutgers losing to Washington St. right after our win.
Not a horrible team but I'm thinking we win by 17. They are beating a mediocre Monmouth by 21 mid 4th at home
I think we do a bit better than that. Monmouth is an FCS school that is much less than mediocre. They have already lost to Holy Cross, a team that went 4-8 last year.
I would be a bit disappointed if we don't win by at least three TDs.
Winning the early game next Saturday may put us in a night game versus LSU.Not sure about you guys...but winning the early game on Saturday makes for a fun day watching the other games.

Old habits die hard.
LSU gametime could be decided before then as unless espn uses a 6 day pick it will be announced on monday 9/14Winning the early game next Saturday may put us in a night game versus LSU.

LSU is not a measuring stick. They will be a top 10 team and we are not about to become a ranked team this year. That's what I want, too, more reps before LSU. LSU will be a measuring stick for this team, whether we like it or not.
It's hilarious but lsu board is in complete meltdown mode after their win. The consensus desire is for some new dynamic things to happen with their offense. What they got was the same old same old, which led to the same nail biter they've been seeing for years.LSU looks really tough talent all over the place big strong and fast not to mention one of the best coaches in the game.
