LSU looks really tough talent all over the place big strong and fast not to mention one of the best coaches in the game.

Agree 100% on the their athletes. Miles is a whack job, most LSU fans can't stand him. That said LSU safeties are bigger than our linebackers. Linebackers looks like our D line but can run. We will be lucky to get any consistency on offense, their D is smothering.

I hope the game stays on ESPN3 and is not picked up by TW cable. Maybe that will force people who want to watch SU from to their couches and watch the games on TV to come to the dome.

Not a horrible team but I'm thinking we win by 17. They are beating a mediocre Monmouth by 21 mid 4th at home

Since CMU put up a good fight vs. Okla State, I think we'll need to tighten up the pass defense and play well next Saturday. I don't even want to think about LSU until we're 3-0.

LSU is not a measuring stick. They will be a top 10 team and we are not about to become a ranked team this year.

I respectfully disagree. If we want to be a top 10 team, we need to see where we stand. Rutgers fans thought they were good because they beat up panzies. Syracuse knows that to be a big time player you have to play big time football, win or lose. I don;t expect a win, but a good game would show where the team is. Add in the Clemson and FSU games, and one can gauge where Syracuse really is.

Overall, I expect we have a bowl team and have a lot of work to do to get to annually being ranked.

One good note is that the Big 12 is not noted for playing defense. I haven't watched Okie State, but I suspect that the Orange play better defense.
