Holy cow, this thread is depressing. Someone is even complaining about basketball fan support/traditions (that's when you know people are reaching!).
We rolled a team yesterday, and our recruiting has been great this year. Things aren't that bad. They really aren't.
I fully expect us to roll WMU in '18, '19, or whenever we play them. Yeah, they had a couple good games that were pretty much their Super Bowls, but it's not like we haven't played good USC teams close before.
And stop freaking out about FSU/Alabama. For the record, we've played NC caliber teams before, and we've held our own before. It's been a while, sure, but neither Alabama nor FSU could match those old Miami teams in the 90's and '00's. Yeah, there were *some* rough games, but there were also some close games, and we even got some wins
CFB is cyclical, and we're trending back.
