They have more offensive talent than half of FBS I bet. My god I would kill for either of those offenses.

ESPN’s Football Power Index has North Dakota St. rated over 10 P5 teams: Kansas, Wake, OreSt, Rutgers, BC, ISU, Ind, Syra, Colorado, Maryland

I wouldn't want to play either team.
I've heard that ND State finds it difficult to schedule a game with a P5 team; none of them want get Appalachian State'd.

That would make a ton of sense when you are the 4 time defending FCS Champs they are really good. They are a legit team watching them play. They destroyed Iowa State 3 years ago and beat Kansas State in Manhattan. If I were a P5 team I wouldn't play ND State.

The top FCS teams are dangerous. We know about Nova and these two. Eastern Washington is excellent, their former QB Vernon Adams is now the Oregon starting QB. EWU lost to Washington by 1 pt last year. On the telecast today they said Adams threw a combined 11 TDs against Oregon St and Washington in 2013(OSU) and 2014(UW). Impressive.

. Maybe I have had one too many mules, but there's no reason we should lose to those guys. We should win those games 9.9 times out of 10. Sure, they could catch us that one time out of 100 -- and it kills me just to write that. McNabb-era teams beats them by 50 before they call the dogs off.

This ain't McNabb era. They are better. Like Alsacs said they crushed Iowa St a few years ago and went into Manhattan and took out Kansas St. They would come into the Carrier Dome and have a field day, imo.

ISU was 2-10 that year. The KSU win was impressive. The thing is you don't want to play them the first game of the season...they get transfers all the time from JUCOs and P5/G5 programs

If I'm not mistaken, ND State has had numerous offers to join various FBS conferences. They're not a "normal" FCS team.

No P5 conference has offered them. I don't think the MWC or AAC offered them...maybe CUSA...but I don't think so.

Did you miss the Nova game from last year? When everyone was healthy. Our D couldn't stop Nova's QB and our D has been our strength. No chance we beat NDSU 9,9 out of 10. It would prolly be 5.5 out of 10.

How many points would we score on them? McNabb era is long gone. During that era were relevant nationally in the CFB world and would be discussed on College Gameday. Now we are lucky if our game is picked during their selections segment. North Dakota State has won 4 NCs in a row beaten their last 4 FBS schools they have played they are a better program than us now. However, being in a P5 we obviously have the better future.

Bama by 28 and Ohio State by at least 30. Top 10 FBS by an average of at least 3 TDs would beat these 2 teams. Only 2 SEC teams that would be close Vanderbilt and Kentucky. They have talent but depth with limit of 63 scholarships.hurts.
For a first game of the season it was really well played. That is where FBS teams are vulnerable that first game.

2013-Georgia State (Samford), Iowa State (Northern Iowa), Kansas State (North Dakota State), No. 25 Oregon State (Eastern Washington), San Diego State (Eastern Illinois), South Alabama (Southern Utah), UConn (Towson), and USF (McNeese State), Florida(Georgia Southern)
2012- Pitt(Youngstown State),Army(Stony Brook), Memphis(McNeese State), UNLV(No. Arizona)
2011- Duke(Richmond), Minnesota(North Dakota St.)
2010- Virginia Tech(James Madison), Ole Miss(Jacksonville St.)

Of course App State over Michigan in 2007.

They happen all the time.

North Dakota State is to FCS what Mount Union or Wisconsin-Whitewater is to D3. They're just on a completely different level (I know Montana won, but you get my point).

The very top FCS are probably as good or better than half the FBS teams. And NDS has won four straight national titles.
