Way to early ACC power rankings via CBS sports

I was wondering why you’d be upset with being ranked #15……. Then realized that was just the ACC, not all of college lol

Yea I get we went 3-9 but 15th in the ACC after all the improvements we made to the coaching staff and roster is just crazy.

Here is my attempt to rationalize it, when you add the experience of our young players that produced, Vince Kehres Toledo defense production and scheme to Syracuse, and a Jeff Nixon offense with Angeli. Those parts all together equal a pretty good football team.

I actually think that's a pretty damn good set of reasons for a week for why we could out kick that projection.

Now, a lot of things have to come into place. Angeli has to bounce back. The wide receivers we brought in have to step up to replace proven production. Our offensive line coach needs to coax better performance from many of the same raw materials. And the defensive coordinator needs to be a lot better than erob.

Every one of those things could happen. None of them are guarantee.

I'm not sure everyone agrees about the roster. I'm hopeful about the coaching staff though. It's good to be underdogs at this point in the year. To me, it all comes down to whether we get first half UConn Steve Angeli or first half Clemson Steve Angeli.
