I expected to see a 60 year history broken down by home/away, coach, opponent, conference and decade. You sir are no SWC!!! Lol!!! (I hope you are wrong as well).

But, I don't think history means anything. I think a lot has to do with where it comes in the season, how important the game is for us and our opponent and how well the coach has motivated his players during the off week.

2019 Team was 1-1 after a bye week. Losing at NC State and an away win at Duke.
2018 Team was 1-0 beating UNC at home in 2OT.
2017 Team was 0-1 losing at FSU.

I think we’re just realizing that beating them at their place is a tall order. Has nothing to do with a bye for me. Sucks given the stakes. Personally I welcomed the bye after what seemed like suffering a heart attack for the last 6 weekends.

You should check out our record against non bye opponents since 2012. Now THAT is scary

No reason to get stressed out... maybe it's the cynic in me, but in recent season's I've taken the attitude that I expect we'll lose, and am pleasantly surprised when we win. Makes watching the game much more enjoyable. Does that make me a bad fan? No, I still root for them, and am happy when we win, but the losses no longer drag me down.

Better coaches do well with extra time. P was always great in bowl games.

I think that Gilbert White and Schmidt will have used the time well.

I hope someone has been working with our kickers and i hope they practiced outdoors this week.
