You can just tell from the composure of these guys that we are a really good team. White's composure reminds me of Wes Johnson and this team has the feel of the 2012? Team. Lots of experience and players that you feel you can rely on to make the right play. I know we haven't really played anyone yet, but you can tell a lot about players when they play smart.

That will change in 7 days when they face the mighty Badgers!! I just hope they are ready. It will be so interesting to see how they do against a real team. I'm anxious and stoked at the same time.

Still scared poopless of our interior defense. Chukwu has been a massive disappointment thus far. 7-2, but plays like he's 6-6 (without the skill).

Closers? Did Boeheim play the epic Glengarry Glen Ross monologue for them!??!

No but he is making Gerry watch it five times a day and he's cut off his coffee.

I'm kidding a bit as Gerry was the lead on Sidibe who's a stud.

Welcome back BTW CaptainJ

We played like complete garbage for half of the first half. Imagine a full game from this team.

Yes because JB employed our bad press and fiddled with the lineup. He knew they had no chance against our 2-3 about 60secounds in.

Gerry seems to have a pocket full of kryptonite at the moment. This recruiting is similar to watching a game, but a much longer version. I'm hoping that GlenGerry speech will get him to pull off some late miracles, re-finding the spirit he had during his BET heroics! Man, I'd seriously love to see him possessed and gain some confidence recruiting and CLOSE!!

We will win every game this year. See you all in Glendale.

The defense really hasn't been tested against top tier athletes. I imagine we will lose a few games in January followed by our annual disillusionment. Then followed by several games pining about they need to work on the defense culminating in some amazing signature wins and oh my God the defense is so good as we play into March like every year.

It think you are likely right , however you can't really tell jack squat about how good this team is given the refuse we've played thus far . Don't think Monmouth is any great shakes .. and these guys tonight were one of the worst D 1 teams in the nation .

Basically ... can't tell much yet

I think Chukwu gets squeezed once we play real teams. Any minutes that people may have expected him to get will to Thompson or Jimmy will just play Lydon at 5 more.

All it takes is one bad shooting night.

From 7 or 8 SU players who can score? (Paschal is the one who we can count on having a bad shooting night) It's statistically unlikely that all 7 or 8 guys are all off on the same night. I've never seen an SU team this deep with guys who can put it in the bucket. Maybe starting fives who are as good or better, but not this deep.

I'll be surprised if this team is held to less than 70 points in any game this season. (Well, it will probably happen against some ultra-good defensive team, but it will still be a surprise) A good test will be Wisconsin on the road coming up.

Yeah, but we have 5 shooters, and all 5 can score in other ways. For them to all be off the same night is unlikely.

Defense is one thing but how do you stop our offense? It's relentless
