I've told this story before but a Syracuse team that had jim Boeheim on it, got wacked by a weak opponent because the players on the team were still blasted from the nite before. The have 5 nights a week to do that. They don't have to do it the night before a game.

I drank 22 beers once night in college, went to bed at 3:00, woke up at 6:30 AM, bussed to Buffalo and won 1st place in a laser tag tournament (hey it was college..we all did like this).

They did not start slow because of this.

If they want to go out 2 days before a game (as long as they don't drink) that's fine, they just have to be smart.

I can tell you for certain that they drink during the week. While i was in school they were always at chucks or konrads (RIP).

The biggest bar brawl i have ever seen was Devo, Trob and josh wright and others vs the bouncers at chucks. Im sure there are a few poster's who were there as well. It took the football team to break it up.
