We Could be a Contenduh...

"Can coach Dino Babers' team contend for a title? The national champion Clemson Tigers are in their same division, so even playing in the conference championship game is a long shot. But if the ACC is going to have another candidate on this list, it should be Cuse."

I mean, long shots? Yes of course. But, the fact we even have writers out there saying we are the second best option in the ACC to compete for a national championship?! Whoa. Take that in, and embrace it. It’s been a long 17 years. Go orange and go Dino Babers.

First of all, I think that even considering Cuse for a national title game is nuts. But then again, I thought everyone was crazy to think we were gonna win 8 games last year. And I think we all know how right I was about that ...

Ok. He didn't fully research the team - Kendall Coleman gone, etc.. But it's still a real fun watch. ;-)

Regardless of what happens this season, how crazy is it that national analysts are predicting we could be a top 6 or 7 team this year?! I really hope they can live up to the hype, having a great football team makes the whole year better. I love the fall because they are playing, we get a great bowl in the winter. We get excited for the spring game and practices, and summer is just thinking about that first kickoff.

If only we had something to get us through the rest of the winter.

i'm stuck on the title spelling of this thread...
*Sigh* It is a reference to a famous scene from "On the Waterfront."

The referenced scene was rated one of the top 100 movie scenes of all time and was delivered perfectly by perhaps the greatest actor of the 20th century.

yes, I believe everyone knows this amazing and iconic scene, and yes, we understand you were spelling it to sound like Brando. Umm, however, the phonetic-type spelling was a wee bit eye opening in this case
