It was a great atmosphere! I almost always say that. The game was so tense, and we have lost so many close ones. It felt to me like we don’t know how to win close ones any more. But we did today! We roared and clapped and a few times my ears rang.

And the crowd was very appreciative of Moten. Very.

It is always sad when it’s the last Dome game but it would have been sadder if we had lost. Did you see how Clemson’s ball almost went in at the end? Did you?????? The gasp from the crowd told the story. No Louisville/Virginia for us!

Best fans in the country. I’m hopeful we’ll win a few ACC tourney games and make the NCAAs. And next year we will be much improved and back being a fixture in the top 25.

It would be super cool if we could start winning there but it's fun to see the Georgia Tech fans dumbfounded by half of their arena taken over every time we play there. I don't know that there's an arena in the country that gets taken over to the extent of what Syracuse fans do in Atlanta.

When that happened, we shrieked for a solid minute. I really liked how this enthusiasm came across on the broadcast. That doesn’t always happen. Hardly anyone left, and I can’t imagine why the football recruits would do so. What th’??

I’m pretty sure they were escorted out early.
Still don’t know why they’d do that, other than maybe it’s just easier logistically to move them when there aren’t another 28k people also trying to leave at the same time?
