Actually, the state of emergency was declared 24 hours before even one snow flake fell !
Living in Northern VA is somewhat embarrassing with the panic around snow or any type of weather.
The grocery stores are empty, and our closest gas station literally sold out of gas.

At least the storm is real. The snow has started to fall and it's coming down hard.
