We need to develop a reliable running game. We need to run outside the tackles. We need to disguise the run once in a while. What the heck happened to Jordan Fredricks. Put him in the first half and let him show his stuff. Mo Neal should be in on special plays or sets, He had far too many carries in this type of game.

Love this post. I've been shouting for more Fredericks and questioning why every run is up the middle with a small RB better-suited to run outside.

Our O-Line has not been able to open a hole in 2 games. Not even against a FCS school. That run game isn't going to be appearing anytime soon.

Honestly, the offense is fine and I'd almost prefer to run less as crazy as that sounds. Between the dropped passes, the line that collapsed numerous times, and Dungey getting happy feet in the pocket, the offense still put up some points. Fix the drops, button up the line, and if Dungey can have some more patience and not worried about being KO'ed like he was numerous times last year, we could have dropped 40 on a really good team tonight.

Dungey is going to get killed, and the passing offense will suffer, if we don't have a credible running game. Not Dungey running the ball, but Fredericks (or someone) running between the tackles.
