The obvious reasons have been stated repeatedly. Winnable games, fun road trip, easy to travel for both fan bases. The other reason is we now play Ga Tech every year and would be great to see a lessor talentd, albiet more disciplined, version of that offense early in the season.

I'd intermix Army with Navy and every year play a Service Academy team.

The years they came to the Dome we could put them in the slot where we'd normally put an FCS team. I think that would draw a better crowd and we could set something up with Fort Drum to have soldiers at the game.

we won't be playing Georgia tech every year since they aren't in our division they are our cross over game this year and in 2020 they come to the carrier dome

I love the idea. NY teams, access to recruiting base we want to dominate, much better replacement for an FCS team, history, etc. And while a home and home with Army is fine, we could also easily negotiate a 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 if we wanted an extra game or two actually our home stadium.

I would do whatever was necessary to schedule Navy the years we don't play Army.
