These photos are from the March 1987 East Regional win over UNC. The videos below are from next season's first game. Here's a challenge, can anyone find footage of SU's win over UNC from that 87 regional?

5. The Blazers' GM watch: Apparently, there has been movement in the Trail Blazers' search for a new general manager. The team has apparently interviewed Troy Weaver, Oklahoma City's assistant GM.

Remember, the Blazers haven't had a permanent GM in more than three months -- since Rich Cho was fired on May 23. Director of college scouting Chad Buchanan has been serving a interim GM, but the Blazers informed Buchanan that he is out of the running to become the permanent GM.

Team president Larry Miller and owner Paul Allen want an experienced GM or someone with extended time as a No. 2 in an organization. Does Weaver fit that description? He took over as OKC's assistant GM -- the No. 2 guy -- after the Blazers hired Cho on July 19, 2010.

Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Portland also is interestedin Spurs assistant GM Dennis Lindsey and former Golden State GM Chris Mullin. Miller, after being somewhat open in the search that landed Cho, has vowed to keep this search out of the media.

As with all things NBA, there's no real urgency as all player personnel business is on hold until the lockout ends. But once it does, there could be a huge flurry of activity.
