SCOUTING REPORT: The lone bright spot for the Colts was rookie running back
Delone Carter, who rushed for 89 yards and averaged an impressive 8.9 yards a carry. A Michael Turner clone, the stumpy 5-9, 225-pound Carter, showed excellent balance, speed and power. He's the back of the future in Indy

Fullback leads way

Fullback Tony Fiammetta has played in two games this season.

Those happen to be the Cowboys top two rushing performances. The team has averaged 209.5 yards on the ground in the two games Fiammetta has played and 74.7 yards in the four games he’s been inactive due to injury.

Coincidence?

“I don’t know that it’s coincidence,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “I think Tony’s certainly done a good job. There’s no question about that.
“We’ve talked that it’s been an objective of ours to get a full-time, true fullback in our offense and we’ve tried to do that over the last couple of years. I think Tony is a good answer to that. I think there’s probably some other factors involved (rushing discrepancy) as well, but he’s certainly played well leading on some of those runs.”

I'm sure Shady is getting all kinds of excited about the prospect of a new Big East. That's the only way they would have a chance at being league champs and get into a BCS bowl game. Oh wait, the league would have to be eligible for that to happen. lol
