Since people leave their jobs all the time for better opportunities I'm not going to poo poo a player for deciding to leave a college program they aren't happy at.

I don’t want him to leave either but that shiiiiit can not happen period. That starts the bad chem stuff and it’s like a snowball rolling down a hill. Babers should sat his ass the next game and made it clear that this is his team. I’m not even made Harris got pissed but that is behind closed doors stuff.

I must confess I worry about what openly demonstrative players (those who display negativity on the field) say during private time with their teammates.

Leadership has been talked about a lot with this team. I think it speaks VOLUMES of the character (of some) we have on this team if their thinking of jumping ship because the season hasn’t gone their way. The first instance of adversity and they want jump ship?

Sorry but we don’t need those types of individuals around. IMO.

I actually worry more that there’s no repercussions during the game by the coaching staff. He’s not the only player that could have been sat during a game, series, quarter to send a msg this year. Let’s face it, we aren’t making the top 25 this year, if the staff is unwilling to send a msg when the game isn’t on the line - I’m more concerned about that.

im sure he was promised that he would be thrown to occasionally, have a great Qb and look good for NFL teams.

No one has actually left yet. Players are frustrated just like the fans. Exit interviews help calm people down.

And if he thinks that’s not the teams goal, he should. But I think it’s more likely to be a mix of problems starting with OT and moving on down the line. If all you can think of is “getting yours” ... it’s weak, especially in public.
