Week 3 ACC/FBS Games for Sept 11-13

I like Heupel but he seemed OK with kicking a 50-ish yarder. Totally agree, 3 timeouts and a short passing game that was clicking. If you’re on the 10 I get it. But a 43 yarder? With a kicker who looks like he’s going pass out?! Dumb.
reminds me of the 2000 where P kept playing for FG's with a kicker who was turrible.

I don’t like ND but can you imagine this place if they didn’t call a hold on that tackle of the ND DL on the 4th down play?

The OL tackled him!
With all the BS calls in their favor over the years I don't feel sorry for them. The board old timers can point to the early 1960's hose job over SU.

I think anyone from Louisville on down to Syracuse on this list still has room to get better, or at least be a different team a month from now.

The only two teams I feel 90% confident in beating if we played today are Virginia Tech and North Carolina, and the only two teams I feel 90% confident we would lose to would be Miami and Florida State.

The GT kicker with a game winning 55 yarder is the exeption to the general rule of college kickers suck.

The other notable exception was the @ Pitt game, where their FG kicker had an out of body experience that day, and broke the Heinz field record for longest FG.*

... and promptly went back to being mediocre for the rest of the season.

* Which is INSANE, given that Pro teams play there regularly.

A bad snap on a PAT might cost Notre Dame the playoffs
i'm dancing meeself a happy jig bewilickers ! screw the irish. overrated over funded.
after the irish basically go the entire field with penalties network flashes back after the winning score and celebration to a missed hold call to cast doubt on the whole play. um.duh. there's holding somewhere every play . so glad when the irish eyes are not smiling' .
