Week 7 ACC/FBS Games for Oct 8-11

He is from Pittsburgh, played at West Virginia, and coached under Nick Saban who notoriously could not get out of Syracuse fast enough when he was a young assistant here.

It was also a matter of Big Ten state school and their resources versus private school in ACC.
He won't be at indiana long anyway.

Love Pena, but I don't think this Penn State thing has worked out so well for him. I saw him make 1 catch for 1 yard. He is buried there, and would have stood out if he stayed at SU, even with Collins. The lesson is a big bag in college football only lasts for a year. Some of our undrafted free agent players are probably making more this year than he is.
Honestly he's not even buried, tied for second in receptions and yards. Penn St is just not, and hasn't been a high powered throwing team under Franklin. It's a weird move for a guy who was (correctly) skeptical of Rickie's throwing ability to transfer into that offense with Allar.

Yup, I live in SE PA and have watched a bunch of Penn St football this year with friends. They try to get Trebor involved in the passing game and he’s even been involved a bit in the running game. They just suck at passing. My friends blame the O-line play and coaching as the primary factors for their collapse.

I meant buried, not at Penn State specifically, but from relevance. Not an opportunity to really shine there.

Indiana is going to be good for a while. Cuban isn't the only rich alum they have. Now that everyone can buy players their funding will show out. Look how fast they paid Cignetti.

What Cignetti has accomplished at IU is pretty amazing. That said, he is by far the easiest coach in the country to root against. He seems like a flaming ayyhole.
He doesn't seem to lack confidence in himself, that's for sure.
