It is a start...SU #22 here

It will be nice to be relevant again in college basketball.

BTW, looking at the rankings I think he missed on Incarnate Word at #330, they should be ranked no lower than #318 IMHO

BTW, even Lunardi has Cuse as an #8 seed at the moment, must of killed him.

This is just the ACCT "UNC Azz-whoopin'" hangover rating.

Texas 1 West Virginia 2. What?

Seems like his formula is heavily based on returning minutes.
Never heard of him before.

EDIT TO INITIAL POST - Texas was 19-12 last year, KP 61, a borderline tourney team and return everybody (99.99% of minutes per his formula) That is a profile of a team that can be around #10-#20 to start the year. But #1? -- formula probably needs some tweaking,

Miami was 15-16 last year, KP 104, but return a high 77.7% of minutes. This makes them the #25 team per his formula. Once again - seems like the formula may be going a bit awry.

Rutgers was 19-11 last year, KP 28 (B10 inflated perhaps), probably a tourney team. They return 82% of the team's minutes -- and they are #32 in this person's ranking -- should be much higher I would think. Once again formula seems off... or perhaps he has the Rutgers almost always finds a way to screw up as part of his algorithm. So on second thought seems about right.

i am so tired of being irrelevant, maybe we come back with a VENGENCE. i can only hope

Seems a reasonable place to start. If we are to go much higher we will need somebody to be a "create his own shot go to guy" when we need a big hoop. For this season that guy would probably have to be Griffin. We will also need a back up center who can play, as I do not totally trust Sid's knees, and you know there will also be games when he gets into foul trouble.

If all the other returning vets just have an average progression and if we get one or two contributing frosh we could be really dangerous. A couple of questions in play, but really not that many compared to most seasons.
