Arnie Burdick wrote a Monday evening column in which "The Old Scouut" would rehash the Saturday game.

I think some DJ on AM radio - probably WNDR - did a spoof that he called "The Ancient Scouut"

The Old Scouut column was very clever and a real SU Football tradition.

Is Roy Wittke taking Eric White's position? Geeeez, I hope not. Not sure how a guy this age relates to 18 year old kids.

Dare I say, a tad bit of ageism in this post? He's apparently done a good enough job to have the trust of HCDB, his age notwithstanding.
And even though Shafer & staff had an uptick in recruiting we weren't exactly setting the ACC on fire w/ our classes- just doing better after the downturn in the program. Our new approach could gather much better results than what we'd become accustomed to. I say have at 'em and lets git r done!!!

I'm 61 (5 years older than Roy Wittke) and I know who Kendrick Lamar is (by the way you spelled it wrong as discovered by this old lady), and I have an iphone 5 soon to get an iphone 6. I am on all social media. I sell real estate, and if I don't keep up with everything that is current, than how am I going to sell homes to young clients and compete against young real estate agents? You can put me up against most of them and I hold my own. I do various chat rooms and forums as you all know, but also for real estate. I think if I can keep up with the technology (although having a son on the Call of Duty team does help me to be technologically literate) so can most anyone else.

Whoever Dino wants to bring in I'm gonna trust is a good hire until we see otherwise. The guy is a PROVEN WINNER so he's earned that. He hasn't won in the ACC yet but neither did Shafer.

And for all the love people gave Eric White, McFkit & Acosta our recruiting classes were always the worst in the ACC so I'm ready for a different approach. Finding a kid to make memes and tweet about Kendrick is the easiest part of building a staff.
