And NO one goes straight to MLB without a stint in the minors. Sure, the top prospects get a fast track. Everyone else is riding the bus with $20 food stipends and staying in cheap motels. There are pros and cons to every sport, and yes the schools profit (and professional owners do too), but everyone has to pay their dues at some point.
