FWIW, 8 of our last 9 games have been against projected NCAA teams. We won 7 of them.

UK, on the other hand, playing in the extremely weak SEC, has only played 3 games vs NCAA teams over their past 9 games.

UK is a very good team, but they are not nearly as tested as we are.

UK was supposed to get to the Final Four in 2010, & then they ran into West Virginia. This Syracuse team is much better than that WVU squad, & You bring up a very important point. Kentucky will always be ill prepared for the Tourney because of their conference affiliation.

Regardless of what the "experts" say about the Big East this season, it is the best conference, & even the best teams have to fight off the barbarians in every contest. The Big East teams give you NO QUARTER, & make you earn your wins. Kentucky will never face that kind of competition every game.

I hope they run into a Big East school early on, & get smacked out of the dance. As much as I would like to see Syracuse beat them, I would thoroughly enjoy an early Kentucky exit at the hands of Notre Dame or Cincy.
