I like to speculate about this stuff. I thought the crowd was great for Colgate, small and expected but great. Happy to be back.

My guess is 35k

See Brett’s link below:

Should be an improvement over last Sat but again the question is how much. Saturday is looking like rain so that may actually help attendance especially with a 3:30 kick and the fair being over. Still it will likely be a strugge to get to far north of 30K actual fannies in the seats this early in the year. Win Sat and vs Purdue, your looking at 40K for Army.

Friend's son is a Freshman, attended the game and loved it. Hopefully the resurgence of the students continues. Not that this is helpful to the thread but maybe it means the students will show up at least.

My guess is 36k announced and 25k in the building

I would say last week there about 20-22k in the building and they announced 32k

Depends when you checked. I thought 32 in the first qtr was pretty close.

the amount of tickets available as full seasons does lend to the idea the only people in fball that will have to be accommodated are the lower bowl home side.. Lots of places to move people in the rest of the building now. if anything it will look fuller with color seats even with small crowds.

There were 2 people in my entire row and somehow they ended up in my 2 seats.. I didnt bother to ask why just moved over and sat down..

28 in house

37 announced
If things were normal, I would agree.

The big factor here not being discussed is Spectrum and the game not being on TV for most of CNY. Pretty sure Spectrum has over 80% of the cable market here. Probably more than 90%.

Assuming the impasse remains, if people want to see the game, they have to go, or head to a sports bar.

I assume with the 37K. It would have been 34K with no Spectrum problem.

But I think we get 35K in the seats. Thanks to Spectrum and Disney.

You think we will have 35,000 fans in the building Saturday?

I'll say 36k announced. If I were the marketing department, I'd be all over the Spectrum ESPN issue and be really pushing that in advertising this week. But im not so what do I know. Just win

I think so. No TV has historically had a big effect on attendance. Forecasted bad weather should also help, as should the exciting and interesting brand of football this team plays.

But I am an optimist. Perhaps it is not realistic.
