What’s the advantage of ACCN

I’m confused. Every game has been televised. The advantage of ACCN has been every game is on. I’m so confused by OP

The advantage of ACCN is that it’s awesome. Soup to nuts

y;all are postin in a Scrotum thread

Sure... we know what's on your mind.
It’s not my fault. There was an incident some years ago that has burned an ever-present image in my mind.

Funny, I called spectrum got the ACC network two weeks ago, sped up my internet, kept all my channels ( have to have TVG for horse racing) and dropped my bill by $15/ month. No complaints here as I watched Cuse and a great BC/ Wake game. Love it

lol - I have thought the same thing every single time I've driven past that sign.

Obviously everybody is in a different situation regarding ACCN depending on your service and location. My Dish Network has been dropping channels like snowflakes (numerous parties probably at fault), but I do have ACCN and will be getting more football games this year than in the past. When it comes to Basketball, my true interest, I will be getting more games on TV this season since the old Big East days. Haven't paid extra for it as I guess it is part of the sports pak I've had for years. At this point I am a happy camper.

I cancelled ESPN+ today. ACCN is never going North to AK. anyone know if ESPN+shows re-runs of ACCN games? A re-run is better than radio.
ESPN+ has nothing to do with ACC schools. It is for leagues with no fan bases and sports with fringe interest. The only way a Syracuse team will play on it is if it happens to play a team in a bad conference on the road.

Like the Liberty game.

Took me forever but finally cut the cord and moved to YouTube TV. Miss a couple of channels and the DVR interface is a bit lacking but great service and value. Of course, once I did Spectrum called with a “better offer that’s even cheaper.” It wasn’t.

A little off topic, but my GOODNESS Mark Richt is the worst! He is an absolute downer who sucks the energy out of the room, he doesn't seem to like us very much, and he's a real homer suggesting that Miami is still in the mix to be one of the top teams in the ACC. I get that many of their players are his recruits, but come on! They are terrible and I don't see that changing this season. He needs to go.
Huddle is just awful. If they're forced to mention SU at all (rare) it's a hit job. There is a reason behind all this - I'll fill you in at the Pitt game.

if you have internet in Alaska, you can get the ACC network. Replace your cable company and get YouTube TV or Hulu. They are apps that run over the internet and go straight to your TV. If you don’t have a smart tv with internet capability, pick up an Apple TV box that will make your existing TV “smart” and able to stream internet tv.

you don’t have to settle. Just go get the right service.

I’ve done exactly what I outlined above. Works great!

I have cable and feel locked in because of bundling discounts with internet and cell phones, land line, etc. I also have Amazon prime and their firestick but I have not seen that they have ACCN. Just did a search and Amazon network might have ACCN. I'll check it out. Keep my fingers crossed.

Color me intrigued!

I have a couple of fire sticks. They all have the ESPN app. With the ESPN app, I am able to stream any game that is playing live (or play it afterwards) from inside the ESPN app. I don't know if you can access the ACCN live if there is not a game going on (their pregame shows, the Packer and Durham talk show, etc). But you should definitely be able to watch games that are televised on the ACCN.

There might be a few cable providers left where you can't stream ACCN or ACCN extra content but it looks to me as though that has either all gone away or is about to go away.

I think there were a few initial agreements with providers where you could only watch the ACCN linear channel but they are going away as the 'real' agreements get fleshed out and signed.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

Balls said the Queen. The King laughed. He had two.
But what of the Queen?

I haven't thought of that one in a long long time.

Every game is on at HD quality and professional reporting. 10 times out of 10, I would take that over ESPN+ which is amateur hour.

Here in Big 12 country where I live, they have a ton of games on ESPN+. I was looking to check in on K State and Oklahoma ST over the weekend and couldn't find it and that's where it was. Made me laugh.

I just downloaded You Tube TV on my Firestick at no charge. In addition, i'll try the ESPN app. Thank you. Hope this info is useful to others.
This means that the free ESPN ap carries ACCN. So why does the paid subscription ESPN+ not carry ACCN? makes no sense.

YouTube TV is a cable-like streaming service that costs about $45/month. You can get a free 7 day trial, and then you will start being billed if you don't cancel. The ACCN is a network that YouTube TV carries, just as it carries ESPN, FS1, TNT, etc. You can watch ACCN via the YouTube TV app, *or* as a subscriber you can watch it through the ESPN app after you enter your YouTube TV account information.

ESPN+ is a separate streaming service that carries content exclusive from every other ESPN network, including ACCN. That is why paying for ESPN+ will not get you ACCN content.

I did the same thing and agree 100%. I do not miss cable one bit after switching. It has the majority of sports channels and all of the local networks at a very reasonable price.

I have Comcast. Last year I was able to watch every SU game on WatchESPN or "ESPN3" as it is sometimes called. I had to sign in to ESPN3 using my Comcast ID, since Comcast had an agreement with ESPN.

This year, I am able to see none of the ACCN games on the ESPN app, either live or replay. If I search last Saturday's games on replay, none of the ACCN games are listed.
