77 bowl eligible teams with 70 bowl slots available. ACC has 11 teams eligible with 8 tie ins. Pac12 has 9 teams eligible with 7 tie ins. AAC has 4 eligible teams with 5 tie ins (but RU could become eligible with a win next week). So that's 5 BCS conference teams without any a direct landing spot.
Both the B1G and the B12 have have bowl openings because they are both 1 short of bowl eligible teams. Looks like the Texas Bowl in Houston is a real possibility because they will be looking for BCS teams to fill in the void left by B1G/B12.
Lots needs to shake out but I'm confident SU will find a bowl spot this year.
