What are Trophy Points?

What are Trophy Points for every login? How do you earn them? What are they for?

I've been told that at various Trophy Point levels you are invited to select an item from the Cuisinart counter top appliances catalog.

I've never been invited.

If you log in more than once a day for a period of several years you can have your name engraved on the trophy, but you have to pay for the engraving, the shipping and handling and several other exorbitant charges. Not a good deal at all.

Be careful how you use those points. When I had enough points, I traded my Trophy Points in for a Trophy Wife!
The problem was, she was more like a "Participation Trophy" Wife, and everyone who had more points than me had already, ummm, participated. (**sigh**)

"Let the buyer beware." (that’s English for caveat emptor).

Everything's made up and the trophy points don't matter.

Seriously though, they are just a feature of the hosting site. They really don't mean anything.
