The feigned "we're the underdogs with the small payroll" schtick has always rubbed me the wrong way. And having ESPN in their back pocket running the same crap up the flagpole is nauseating. And don't even start with "but Ortiz was on the list in 2003 of substances that weren't banned!" Ahh but Arod was on the same list but wait, he admitted using steroids where Ortiz played the altar boy.
