I'm starting this post approaching half-time vs. Colgate, about 5 minutes left. Cuse leads only by 2.
JJ Starling with just a terrible half so far, gave up 3 or 4 easy buckets, 2 or 3 sloppy turnovers, started hot from the field but forced a couple shots.
Bell is invisible so far, but is playing some defense, has a couple rebounds.
Carlos has been very poor defensively. This kid only looks about 5-10. How could he have been all-league defensive team twice at Hofstra? I just don't see it.
Choppa Moore with a couple buckets and a couple forces. He can drive the ball. The dribble is a little high, but he's a rangy guy. If he can pass it some, and get more consistent with his shot, he'll get minutes.
We really need Cuffe to play well. We need another guy who can run the point. Eddie is solid, but makes mistakes. Gets offensive boards, but could convert at a better rate.
Donnie with some swag in his offensive game, had a block or two, a few rebounds, but is not quite at his best so far.
I think that this starting lineup is not working. Petar is too slow on defense in the middle, and needs to be paired with someone quicker, or maybe as the center in a smaller lineup.
What about Naheem??? For Chrissakes, he could shake things up inside, provide some rim protection. So many open shots for Colgate at the rim!
Davis needs to play more. Lucas Taylor has been OK. Wish he could handle the ball better.
