I know it sucks our season is over after Saturday but I still love this time of year. Just curious what conference tournaments everyone is looking forward to watching? And if college basketball is unwatchable and you can't watch anyone besides Syracuse, that's fine. I understand. But I'd prefer this thread not be about that.
For me, I enjoy (not necessarily in this order)
Missouri Valley - They start tonight and are one of the first "big conference tournaments. I live in Kansas City and this one is relatively popular in this area, particularly now that Wichita State is good. It's not quite the same without Creighton but Wichita State and Northern Iowa should still make for a fun Arch Madness.
ACC - Won't be the same without us playing but I'll still watch and see how Duke, Carolina, Louisville and Notre Dame match up..
Big 12 - This should be a really exciting tournament this year with Kansas, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Baylor, West Virginia, Oklahoma State and Texas all being pretty good this year I think this has probably been the best conference top to bottom this year.
Southern Conference - Hey I gotta watch the alma mater Mercer. But seriously, Wofford is a pretty solid team and fun to watch and so is Chattanooga.
Summit League - This might be a strange pick to some but I watched some of this when UMKC was in the league and they put on a fun show up in Sioux Falls, SD. The games are usually sold out and a great atmosphere with South Dakota and South Dakota State both in the league with North Dakota State. Why UMKC left this league for a WAC conference filled with New Mexico State, Grand Canyon, Seattle, Cal Bakersfield, Utah Valley, Chicago State and Texas Pan Am is something I will never understand
Big East - I'll still watch but really the only teams that intrigue me are Villanova and Providence and maybe Georgetown.
Big 10 - Yes I am a Big 10. Gotta cheer for my dad's Hawkeyes. They have a lot of solid, but not spectacular teams this year which might make for a really competitive fun tournament to watch.
Mountain West - Hopefully Wyoming can make a run and make my mom happy. But San Diego State, Boise State and Colorado State are all solid teams to make for a fun tournament
