Obviously everyone here (at least I hope) wants Syracuse to win. It's a loooooooong shot. So what does the score have to be to have a "respectable loss"?

I hate moral victories. But to try to answer your question, get to the fourth quarter with the outcome still in the balance.

Not getting beat 56-7. This is a moral victory game whether people want to admit it or not. You cant tell me with a straight face that if we lose 35-17 and play hard you wont feel good. You would be lying

I agree with you. Coming at this game realistically, we have had some huge losses. We aren't a very good team, super inconsistent, and struggle to score. To win the game would be amazing but the team can gain some confidence by not being embarrassed on the field like at GT. That confidence would be good going into the last two games.

this will be a big mettle test for ty hunt. i think we all agree he has some mad skills but today he's gonna have to read quickly ,react and improvise in the pocket. very slim margin for any error. he's had his seasoning now it's time to show leadership.

Going into halftime down 10 or less. Losing by less than 21...no injuries. ABC doesn't switch the game.
those are good mark. I was just going to go with have someone in the world thinking we could still win when the 4th quarter starts.

Game isn't over but I thought they gave it a good effort. I mean its like playing a mini-NFL team so I expected the outcome. Yes they got blown out but I thought the kids played hard
