And more importantly, what would you be satisfied with?

Personally, I'll be relatively satisfied if we come out of these next three games - all winnable - with an overall record of 5-4. I think it's realistic we emerge 6-3, but 5-4 seems more likely.

So, how do you think we'll do against Ga Tech, Wake, and Maryland? And would you be satisfied to be 5-4 heading into our final three games considering FSU is frankly just not going to happen in terms of getting a win (I don't think, anyway), while BC looks tougher than expected and Pitt is our likeliest chance to earn a bowl bid as our sixth win if we don't get there in the next three?

beat wake, split MD and GT with a clubber lang prediction for FSU

5-5 going into the home finales with Pitt and BC wouldn't be the worst scenario. I think it would make those games pretty interesting, especially because of the ACC letters.

But something tells me at least 10,000 people, maybe even 15,000 people won't find it nearly as interesting as I do.

GaTech and Maryland both could be tough. Both good teams and both on the road. I say those are 50/50. Wake should be a win. Really need to win one of those and all three would be great, but I think we go 2-1.

Its tough to say coming off a win but if this passing game doesn't get at least to below average were going to struggle to get to .500. Our running game in the second half was extremely good, we put up one of our best rushing totals in a long long time. But id say 99% of the people here realize its going to be difficult to duplicate that success on a weekly basis especially against better teams. If we could develop any type of a passing game I think we could easily go 2-1 over the next three games and finish strong down the stretch but the passing numbers the last two weeks somebody posted in another thread are absolutely horrific. Hunt and West are so far apart they might as well be on different planets, I know I placed a lot of blame on West but after watching the NC State game its clear Hunt is struggling and honestly looks like hes in way over his head against BS level pass defenses.

6-3 - Ecstatic
5-4 - Extremely Happy - Bowl game within reach.
4-5 - Content - Bowl game could be a stretch.
3-6 - Trainwreck.

I think we will either see 5-4 or 4-5. I think that in order to have a good shot at bowl eligibility, we need to be 5-4 after this next 3 game stretch. That being said, I think they end up 5-4.

GT a tougher test than Maryland

1-2 no improvement passing game
2-1 expected
3-0 and on a four game win streak possible

A 3-0 stretch puts us at 4-1 in conference, and more importantly in a bowl

NC State was #9 vs the run.

I do agree that it will be hard to replicate without improvement from the passing game.

I think we beat Wake at home, win the weekend vs GTech and lose to Maryland.

How can anyone not say 3-0 if you claim to be a true Syracuse fan...lost is not in my vocabulary

I have never picked Syracuse to lose a game EVER, so obviously 3-0. Tech may be close though

3-0 and 3 more teams down to their backup QB.

How much does the GT QB keep the ball in their option? Hit the living hell out of him.

If I were the GT coach, I wouldn't let my guy see Bromleys hit on the NC State QB. His arm was just dangling there.

As a realist I say 2-1. As others have said if the passing game picks up I think we have a good chance at 3-0.

i dont trust the staff and the QB to find 3 wins there.

something will go wrong and it wont be pretty.

3-0 is not an option.
2-1 is sugar and spice and everything nice
1-2 realistic
0-3 on the table. but its a small table and 1 good drunk hip check will send the plate flying off to the floor

ive always had mary and wake as Ws so we will see.

Oh Lord

I don't know What to expect from this team, the d needs to play well for us to stay in anything at this point, we will go as far as that takes us as well as the running game, finding any type of pass game would increase the odds significantly but we ain't winning any shoot outs and if they cant stop GT running game, that game will be over in the 2nd quarter.

Barrel locked and loaded for ATL. My record for road games the past 8 years is something like 2-10! Only wins coming at USF as I am sure many have the same.

Every game left on the schedule should be put through these questions:

1. Can you stop our run game? Smith, Gulley, and Hunt.
2. Can you take advantage of our secondary?

I think GT can't do either.
Wake can't do #1, and had one guy who can do #2 - I don't think it will be enough.
Maryland. I don't know how their run D is and their passing game is pretty good.

2-1.

you never know with this team but that makes it that much more damn exciting...the unknown is great don't fear it
