So its been known for awhile we will go somewhere and pretty much known what the choices would be. Given that travel will strongly help decide where we go, has SU done anything to reach out to get a sense of local interest? I mean reaching out to the season ticket holders if nothing else to see how demand might be given the options so they could present real data to the bowls who I am sure they are having discussions with?

hey Camping world our people are beating down the doors to get to Orlando!! and backed up with some evidence.

Why not do some advertising of contact information at the school so people could get on lists for tickets if they have an interest. not everyone is going to be proactive, most are going to wait and see and in this case thats not going to help the case for getting the best bowl game.

Besides what Ox posted, SU also sent out an email to all season tix holders and laid out the process in general. When it is formally announced Sunday, they will send us another email detailing how to get tickets and travel packages.

I am assuming 1 means most interest...? Strange they have 1-20... lmao

Ha. They didn’t really explain that well. Most took it as 20 was the most interest.

I know I did...
I read it as how many in your party would go.

This right here proves my point. How can you possibly send a survey out and not be absolutely sure people have clarity on what they are submitting? It’s not hard! Write one more sentence “1 means most interest, 20 means least interest”.

Embarrassing. In almost every survey I have done, “most interest” is usually the lowest number (ie 1). It’s concerning to me that others have interpreted it the other way.

Yeah, that's kinda bad.

Well, Camping World seemed to get all 1s and 20s. Seems to be a real hot topic in the community!

Shoot, I took that a couple weeks ago and I took it as 20 is the most interest and 1 as the least interest. Thought being there is a "0" option so that would be no interest. Next would be "1" with a little more.

Since 0 was an option, I took it to mean how many tickets I would buy for each bowl option. I gave Pinstripe and Sun a 0.

There should be ZERO doubt, which is the point. What a joke. This is not hard, people (who made the webpage and the form).

Classic half assed SU athletic dept.

what a godawful and vague survey that is.

Hopefully most fans took it to mean 20 was most interest and that SU took it to mean number of tix you’d be interested in. That way SU can tell the camp bowl “hey, we think we can sell 30,000”.

Actually, it is hard. At least, based on my experience with surveys. They almost all suck! I usually get pissed off and quit in the middle.
